Washroom

Cabin 00: Where is the light switch for the washroom?

The light switch is located inside the washroom on the wall nearest the door. It may be covered by towels at times.

Cabin 00: How do I use the incinerating toilet?

  1. Lift both the toilet lid and seat
  2. Before every use, take a new toilet bowl liner and open it up
  3. Place the opened liner in the toilet with the crease positioned horizontally in the center of the bowl
  4. Lower the toilet seat and use the toilet as usual
  5. Close the toilet lid
  6. Push the start button until you hear a beep

Cabin 00: What do I do if the toilet liner won’t go down?

Sometimes this happens if there’s not enough weight in the liner to push it down. The best trick we’ve found is to grab a cup from the kitchen and fill it with water, then pour that water into the liner to create more weight before closing the toilet lid and pressing the Start button again.

Cabin 00: What if I forget to use a toilet liner?

Accidents happen! Just do your best to rinse out the toilet bowl with water and soap and we’ll do a proper cleaning after you’ve checked out.

Cabin 00: Can I use the toilet once the incineration process has started?

Yes, the incineration process automatically pauses when the toilet lid is opened so it’s safe to use. It will resume once the lid is closed and the incineration button is pushed again.

Is there any exhaust fan in the washroom?

Before you take a shower, we suggest pressing the mode button and turning it on to max mode. When you’re done showering, please press the mode button again and change it back to intermittent mode, which ensures the cabin is kept at the optimal humidity levels during your stay.

Sauna

What are the health benefits of using a sauna?

Sauna usage has many incredible health benefits including muscle recovery, improved immunity, pain relief, and a deeper sleep.

When's the best time to use the sauna?

While there’s no one best time to enjoy the sauna, we highly recommend staying away from heavy meals and alcohol before doing so.

One of the primary benefits of sauna use is improved blood circulation and eating a heavy meal beforehand will cause your blood to concentrate in your stomach to help with digestion instead of your entire body. If you’ve eaten a heavy meal, wait 2-3 hours before you enter the sauna.

Consuming alcohol before your sauna session increases the risk of dehydration and dizziness.

What do I do if the sauna control panel won't turn on?

This happens when the sauna heater has overheated. To reset the sauna heater, take the stick hanging below the sauna instructions and head into the sauna. Use the stick to press the reset button on the sauna heater, through the rectangular opening in the wooden slats.

How long should I stay in the sauna?

How long it feels comfortable to stay in a sauna is going to vary based on your heat tolerance, age, and certain health factors. While saunas have been shown to be most beneficial after 20-30 minutes, it’s completely okay to start with shorter sessions. Try a few 5-10 minute sessions and notice how your body feels. These shorter sessions will help your body get used to the heat and build up your ability to stay in longer.
